The Boss App combines your phones network connectivity with it's motion detection sensors to
send a message to our Boss App servers. Once your computer sees this signal, it will execute The Boss App magic on your PC.
The short answer is no. The Boss App is designed to work with whatever network connection
you have. Though it does work well on 3G connections, we do admit it is
smoking fast on WiFi.
This problem would only occur in two situations: Either you have not registered your e-mail yet,
or it's a simple typo somewhere. Check the website registration first, enter the e-mail address
you want to use, if it is already in the system the registration page will let you know. If that is
the case, double-check the e-mail your using in the application.
Drastic? No. Your phone already has plenty of applications and services that run in the background
using minimal amounts of power. The Boss App has it's own sleep mechanism built into it. The reason we did this is because when your phone does lock,
all of the sensors shut off, which would leave you hanging when you really need help.
We decided that if you're going to use your phone for anything, you may not be paying attention
to what's going on around you. Ideally, you should just lift your phone and clear off your desktop
before doing anything else. You're only one click away from restoring things to the way they were.
